Location: Velammal Nexus, Mogappair Main Campus, Chennai

Job Objective:

To deliver high-quality French language instruction, fostering a love for the language while enabling students to achieve fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding French in alignment with the school’s academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured French lessons aligned with the curriculum (CBSE/Cambridge/ICSE – as applicable).
• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the curriculum program requirements and reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, maintain student performance records, and provide feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students and encourages learning.
• Participate actively in school activities, language week, competitions, exhibitions, and cultural events.
• Collaborate with other language teachers for interdisciplinary and extracurricular initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and performance.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and wellbeing of students during class and on campus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in French Language / Literature or equivalent.
• Certification in DELF/DALF or similar French proficiency credentials preferred.
• B.Ed. (Mandatory for CBSE curriculum).

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching French at a reputed school, preferably in middle and senior grades.
• Experience with CBSE or International Curriculum (Cambridge/IGCSE/IB) is an added advantage.

• Proficiency in French (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Classroom management and student engagement.
• Cultural sensitivity and creativity in language teaching.
• Use of modern teaching tools, audio-visual aids, and technology for interactive learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
