We are a leading paint manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality coatings for a variety of applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Formulation Chemist to join our dynamic team.

Position: Formulation Chemist

• Location: [bhanpuri, Raipur, Chhattisgarh]
• Type: Full-Time
• Monthly Wage: ₹17,500- ₹25,000

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize paint formulations to meet quality, performance, and cost criteria.
• Select and source raw materials suitable for different paint products.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and trials to test chemical and physical properties (e.g., viscosity, color, drying time).
• Analyze results and make adjustments to formulations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Participate in scaling up formulations from laboratory to production scale.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and R&D teams.
• Troubleshoot issues related to formulation or production quality.
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, test results, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Prior experience in paint formulation, coatings, or similar chemical manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of chemicals used in paint and their interactions.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
