Key Responsibilities:

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances including drugs, poisons, explosives, and trace evidence.
• Use advanced instrumentation (e.g., GC-MS, FTIR, HPLC) for substance identification.
• Document analytical procedures and maintain chain of custody.
• Prepare technical reports and present expert testimony when required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and internal investigators.

Required Skills:

• Strong foundation in organic, analytical, and instrumental chemistry.
• Proficiency in laboratory safety and quality control protocols.
• Effective technical writing and documentation skills.
• Prior experience in crime labs or chemical forensics preferred.
