Job Title: Food & Beverage SupervisorJob Summary:

The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining service standards, handling guest interactions, coordinating with the kitchen, and supporting revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service & Operations
  • Supervise daily F&B service to ensure smooth, efficient, and courteous operations.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service, hygiene, and safety.
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor dining areas for cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness.

2. Staff Supervision & Training

  • Assign duties and shifts to F&B team members.
  • Train new and existing staff in service standards, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.
  • Motivate and monitor team performance, ensuring consistency and discipline.
  • Conduct daily briefings to communicate specials, events, or service expectations.

3. Sales & Upselling

  • Encourage and monitor effective upselling of menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Support revenue goals through suggestive selling and service excellence.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, or theme nights.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely service.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, front office) for guest needs and events.
  • Ensure proper communication of special dietary requirements or allergies.

5. Inventory & Reporting

  • Monitor stock levels for linen, crockery, cutlery, and consumables.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts.
  • Ensure proper billing, cash handling, and reporting of daily sales.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to management on menu, service, or operations improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in F&B service, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of restaurant service standards, food safety, and hygiene practices.
  • Experience with POS systems preferred.
