Job Summary As an Electric 3-Wheeler Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electric 3-wheelers to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. You will work at 3W Hubs and service centres, collaborating with a team of technicians to provide top-notch maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of electric vehicle systems, and a passion for sustainable transportation. Key Responsibilities Allotment and Submission of Vehicles: Daily allotment and submission of vehicles as per the requirement. Diagnostic Assessment: Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify issues and malfunctions in electric 3-wheelers. Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to battery maintenance, motor repairs, brake system repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting. Component Replacement: Replace defective components and parts, including batteries, motors, controllers, wiring, and other electric vehicle components. Safety Checks: Ensure that all repaired vehicles meet safety standards and conduct thorough safety inspections. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on task. Test Drives: Conduct test drives to verify that repairs have been completed successfully and that the vehicle operates correctly. Adherence to Procedures: Follow all company and industry safety guidelines and procedures for working on electric vehicles. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in automotive or electric vehicle mechanics is a plus. Proven experience as an electric vehicle mechanic or 3W/4W mechanic. Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
