Facility Manager

Job Description

Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Facility Manager with 12-15 years of proven expertise in managing large-scale facilities, infrastructure, and support services. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, space planning, vendor management, compliance, and sustainability initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective workplace environments aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Facility Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, housekeeping, landscaping, security, and space management. Maintenance & Repairs: Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are in place and executed for all mechanical, electrical, and civil infrastructure. Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage contracts, negotiate service agreements, and monitor performance of external vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services. Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets for facilities, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance. Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet legal and regulatory standards, including fire safety, environmental laws, and occupational health standards. Project Management: Lead facility upgrade, renovation, or expansion projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, consultants, and contractors. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the facility management team, providing direction, development plans, and performance reviews. Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and monitor green building practices and energy conservation measures to promote sustainable operations. Crisis & Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and procedures to ensure employee safety and business continuity.
