Executive - IT Operations Management

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Executive - IT Operations Management to support and maintain data center operations at our Chennai DR Centre. The role involves working in a 24/7 shift environment and is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day data center IT operations and support activities.
• Perform end-of-day (EOD) and beginning-of-day (BOD) checklists and change request forms (CRFs).
• Execute server and database backup jobs as per schedule.
• Provide basic support for Unix and Windows Server operating systems.
• Support backup and recovery activities using TSM or similar tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and service continuity.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and documentation protocols.

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of data center operations
• Knowledge of Unix and Windows Server environments
• Familiarity with TSM Backup and database concepts
• Willingness to work in 24/7 shift support
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc. / B.C.A. / B.E. in Information Technology or related field
