About Us:

Group Trucks Technology

is the largest RD wing of Volvo group. We are seeking talents to help design sustainable transportation solutions for the future. As part of our team, you ll help enable talent to engineer exciting next-gen technologies and contribute to projects that determine new, sustainable solutions.

Perform calculation and simulation on Powertrain components and systems.

To define loads and boundary conditions for components/systems

To be able to mesh components with required quality (tetra, shell).

Virtually verify components/systems

Optimize components/systems to reduce weight/cost.

To provide input to concept, component and system selection.

Interact with global design team - take inputs, run analysis, write and present technical reports

Qualifications and Requirements:

Mechanical Engineering Graduate or Post-graduate
2 - 5 years experience
CAE/ FEA simulations , Engine/Driveline product knowledge

Experience in Fatigue analysis, Vibration analysis, Static analysis. Preferably in Powertrain domain - Engines, Driveline (Axles, Gear boxes, etc.)

Software skill required: Ansys APDL, Abaqus and ANSA
Automation skills - Using Python or any scripting

Good understanding of Powertrain technology, materials knowledge, awareness of powertrain parts and accessories.

Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
