Job PurposeTo supervise the overall shift-wise mining operations by coordinating production, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining statutory and quality standards to maximize productivity, service, and profitability. 2. Reporting StructureReports to: Mines Manager Position: Operations / Shift In-charge – Mining 3. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement detailed safe work procedures and ensure their execution. Coordinate all open-pit mining activities including scheduling, drilling, blasting, excavation, and transportation. Monitor pit operations to identify and rectify safety violations in accordance with DGMS and statutory norms. Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and machinery.
