  • Juniper s Human Resources Shared Services Group, HR Connect, provides centralized Employee Relations support to managers and employees globally.
  • As part of the global team, the ER Advisor is responsible for employee and manager consultation, coaching and advising to resolve talent related concerns and leading internal investigations. In addition to consultation, the role may need to field routine inquiries during high-demand periods. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, complex, dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Deliver a high level of customer service to employees and managers.
  • Coach employees through formal and informal performance management issues.
  • Facilitate the interactive process for evaluating medical accommodation requests.
  • Serve as an escalation point for HR Business Partners regarding performance management, ER issues, and investigations.
  • Lead internal investigations, in consultation with Legal and/or other internal partners as applicable (Internal Compliance Group and Environment, Health, Safety and Security).
  • Identify trends and themes, with regard to, ER issues and escalate these business issues to HRBP s as appropriate.
  • Utilize case management application to record interactions and manage follow up.
  • Partner with stakeholders (Talent Management and/or Legal) to conduct manager and/or employee training in response to ER issues or as a preventative measure.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a wide variety of human resources functions, including employment law, performance management and employee relations.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to build relationships and advise and influence across all levels.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven project management, organizational, diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must thrive in a fast paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing are required.
  • Demonstrated integrity while working with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office. Oracle HCM Cloud experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to accommodate occasional business travel.
