Duty Medical Officer

Job Summary:

SRM Global Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to join our clinical team. The DMO will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and care of patients, supporting senior consultants, and ensuring smooth functioning of the department during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide round-the-clock medical attention to admitted patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs, clinical conditions, and initiate emergency care when required.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations like cardiac arrest, trauma, etc.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient records, treatment sheets, and progress notes.
• Support in ICU/ward rounds along with consultants and follow up on instructions.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, paramedics, and diagnostic departments.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Handle medico-legal cases as per institutional protocol.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and assist in emergency procedures if required.

Shift Pattern:

• Rotational Shift (Day/Night)
