Design Engineer - Electrical

The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have 5-8 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in design software such as Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Revit is required. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role. Your main responsibilities will include the design and management of complex building projects at construction sites. You will be required to review, monitor, and expedite the production of GFCs. Additionally, you will oversee the delivery of GFC information, ensuring that reviews are performed quickly and accurately. It will be your responsibility to understand and monitor adherence to the consultants" contracts and ensure that their obligations are being fulfilled. You will also review method statements, logistics, and site coordination in collaboration with the construction team, ensuring clear communications. Furthermore, you will review shop drawings and coordinate them ahead of submittal to consultants. You will ensure that comments received from consultants are clear and concise before returning them to subcontractors. Additionally, you will review and update SLD and documents such as short circuit current and voltage drop calculations to supplement the design or construction information. You will also be tasked with reviewing and preparing BOQ documents as required to expedite construction. Collaboration with the MEP & Architecture or a related team for BIM modeling is essential. Other design-related tasks may be assigned as needed.,
