Investigate live systems faults, diagnose problems, and propose and provide solutions. Work closely with various teams to design, build, test, deploy and maintain insightful MI reports. Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures, and timely escalate major project risks & issues to service owner. Execute test cases and log defects. Should be proactive in understanding the existing system, identifying areas for improvement, and taking ownership of assigned tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring timely delivery of tasks. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements : 4-6 years of experience in Data Warehousing specialized in ETL. Given the current team is highly technical in nature, the expectation is that the candidate has experience in technologies like DataStage, Teradata Vantage, Unix Scripting and scheduling using Control-M and DevOps tools. Candidate should possess good knowledge on SQL and demonstrate the ability to write efficient and optimized queries effectively. Hands on experience or knowledge on GCP’s Data Storage and Processing services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Cloud spanner, Cloud SQL would be an added advantage. Hands-on experience with Unix, Git and Jenkins and would be added advantage. This individual should be able to develop and implement solutions on both on-prem and google cloud platform (GCP). Conducting migration, where necessary, to bring tools and other elements into the cloud and software upgrades.
