Data Governance Business Analyst - C13, Mumbai - Banking & International

The Data Governance Business Analyst role involves being responsible for various tasks including assisting in identifying data quality issues, measuring and reporting, ensuring data policy adoption and compliance, and handling regulatory and audit response and action tracking. You must possess qualities such as being dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to quickly changing needs. Handling ambiguity and complexity, as well as managing multiple responsibilities, are essential. Effective communication and presentation skills are necessary to guide, influence, and convince others. You will collaborate with multiple teams to implement data issue resolution solutions and execute controls for the Data Risk and Control framework. Responsibilities also include overseeing data-related issues, conducting root cause analysis workshops, tracking ownership and target dates, and reporting metrics. Additionally, you will support business lines and global functions in requirement gathering, solution roll out, building controls around key risk indicators, and managing specific data issue resolution projects or new Key Risk Indicators implementation. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Process Engineering, or a related area. Proficiency in handling complexity, ambiguity, and a fast-changing work environment is crucial. Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools is required, along with strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Experience in working within Consulting/Audit with Big-4 firms and familiarity with Risk and Finance functions and multiple asset classes are advantageous.
