As a self-driven support engineer, you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at adapting to changing priorities. Your experience in directly interfacing with customers via phone and email equips you to provide technical support through advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and code fixes. Your knack for creative problem-solving extends to designing and creating tools that enhance both internal operations and customer experiences. Your expertise spans web services, databases, networking, and coding, making you a well-rounded lover of technology. In your role, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers across various engagements, offering technical development, product support, and business analysis. You will be the go-to subject matter expert for resolving broad and complex technical issues through first-call resolution via phone and email. Additionally, you will design, write, and enhance tools for internal and external users, while also training customers on best practices for platform usage. Your ability to leverage customer insights will empower other teams to better serve clients and improve the platform. You will contribute to team enhancement by identifying process and technical gaps, all while ensuring high customer satisfaction levels through surveys and feedback. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a B.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a leading university and be comfortable with a 24/7 support role. Proficiency in web stack and web services applications, relational and no-SQL database concepts, as well as basic object-oriented programming and scripting knowledge are essential. Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, along with effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, are key requirements. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Java, servlets, or J2EE framework support, Apache, nginx, or Tomcat administration, Oracle PL/SQL, building RESTful services in NodeJS, front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML, Docker containerization, virtualization, basic networking knowledge, and proficiency in Linux and command line environments.
