Key Responsibilities: 1. Intermodal Transport Operations (Road & Rail): Manage end-to-end cargo movement via road and rail, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery. Oversee loading, unloading, transit planning, and equipment coordination. Implement and refine SOPs to drive operational consistency and efficiency. 2. Customs Clearance & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs regulations and handle all import documentation in coordination with CHAs. CHA and Import Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day interactions with Customs House Agents (CHA) and ensure accuracy in documentation and declarations. Coordinate import operations, including Bill of Entry filing, duty payments, and cargo release processes. Resolve discrepancies or delays arising during customs procedures. 4. Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with transporters, rail operators, CHAs, clients, and regulatory bodies. Coordinate with internal teamsSales, Finance, Documentationto ensure alignment and issue resolution. Maintain high service levels and ensure customer satisfaction. 5. Resource Optimization & Budget Control: Efficiently allocate manpower, vehicles, rail space, and warehousing facilities. Prepare, manage, and track operational budgets to meet cost targets. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality. 6. Risk Management & Operational Problem Solving: Proactively identify risks related to transportation, customs, or documentation. Address issues such as delays, cargo damage, or non-compliance swiftly and effectively. Develop contingency strategies to ensure business continuity. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred). 7–10 years of experience in intermodal transport, import operations, and customs clearance. Strong understanding of CHA operations, Indian customs procedures, and logistics laws. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Proficient in MS Office.

Job Summary Regulatory Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing the continued development and implementation of a global trade compliance program. The job will also involve supporting integration of systematic export controls into ERP systems.
