Role Overview:

You will be the brain and the hands behind Novella’s signature edits — building visual experiences that evoke emotion, communicate elegance, and maintain global standards. This is not a generic edit role. You will lead the creation of moodboards, craft one-of-a-kind edits, layer sound with soul, and execute visuals that can be compared to Sabyasachi campaigns, Rolls-Royce elegance, and Tiffy's minimalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit wedding teasers, trailers, reels, documentaries, editorials, and brand films in Novella’s luxury tone
• Perform advanced sound mixing using tools like FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic Pro (manual mixing preferred)
• Execute strong color grading and LUT application for cinematic appeal
• Create and manage templates for faster edit workflows while maintaining uniqueness
• Collaborate with cinematographers, brand leads, and marketing to bring moodboards to life
• Develop visual content for social media in line with high-fashion and luxury content
• Use AI tools and modern plug-ins to enhance quality and storytelling impact
• Handle post-production from raw to final exports with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, timely, and revision-ready file structure for all ongoing projects
• Stay updated with visual trends in luxury, wedding, and short-form cinematic content

You’re Right for This Role If You...

• Have 3+ years of experience editing luxury wedding films, high-fashion campaigns, or commercials
• Are a visual storyteller with a strong sense of pacing, emotion, and aesthetic
• Are well-versed with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro
• Have strong experience with music and audio design (manual mixing preferred)
• Understand color grading, transitions, text design, and cinematic layering
• Can work independently under pressure and meet tight delivery timelines
• Know how to interpret brand language and elevate the visual tone
• Are comfortable working weekends during wedding season
• Are passionate about innovation, elegance, and perfection in execution

Bonus Skills

• Experience in creating wedding music mixes or designing original audio overlays
• Worked in a luxury, wedding, fashion, or film production house
• Knowledge of sound syncing, foley, and ambient layering
• Has built a recognisable visual editing style or signature treatment
