Job Description

We are currently seeking new talented individuals to join our Tendering & Costing Team.

Responsibilities:


  • Able to analyse the adequacy and completeness of the commercial offers received for evaluation
  • Is able to propose technical alternatives (within the scope of the commercial offers received) in order to optimize the total cost.
  • Is able to estimate indexes to recalculate costs according to the varying conditions of job execution.
  • Has knowledge of the metallurgical processes (casting, forging, heat treatments, etc.) and can determine their impact on the purchasing costs of semi-finished products.
  • Can recognize the material components of the machinery shown on the drawing.
  • Has knowledge of the taxation applied by the different countries (for import and export) on the materials and manufactured machines and knows how to use it for comparing costs
  • Is able to quickly process the data contained in the database in order to evaluate the expected best cost for the various types of E cost (EI from subsidiaries and EE from third parties)
  • Is able to propose solutions aimed at optimizing the machines mix, production allocations and make-buy, to the commercial functions
  • Is able to extrapolate the purchasing costs for new machines


Technical Requirements:


  • BE/B TECH in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Exposure to Steel Industry at least for Ten Years, in Project Management, Purchase, QA&QC, Tendering & Estimation, Production, Equipment Manufacturing.
  • 10-15 Years of Experience.

  • Very well Conversant with MS Office
