Job Description

Job Title:Part-Time R&D Chef – Fast Food Employment Type:Part-Time | Flexible Hours Department:Research & Development (R&D) – Food Innovation About the Role:We are seeking a creative and experienced R&D Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves the development and testing of innovative fast food recipes, optimization of existing items, and support in standardizing scalable products for launch across outlets. Key Responsibilities:Develop new recipes and products tailored to the fast food market (burgers, wraps, snacks, beverages, etc.) Research emerging trends in local and international fast food cuisine Conduct kitchen trials and taste tests to refine food items Work closely with procurement and kitchen staff for ingredient sourcing and costing Standardize recipes and preparation methods for consistency Ensure all food innovations meet hygiene, safety, and FSSAI standards Document recipe trials, feedback, and improvement plans Contribute to seasonal menu innovation and limited-time offerings (LTOs) Requirements: Proven experience as a chef, preferably in QSR/Fast Food brands or cloud kitchens Passionate about food trends and flavor experimentation Knowledge of food costing, nutrition, and kitchen operations Certification in Culinary Arts or Food Science (preferred) Ability to work flexible hours and conduct on-site R&D trials Strong documentation, tasting, and communication skills Work Schedule:3 to 4 days a week (negotiable) Approx. 4–5 hours per day May include occasional weekend tastings or focus group trials
