Supports the sourcing of materials, products or services of specified technology or product area by creating excellent supplier base with the best terms. Provides working leadership and training to less experienced personnel. May lead small projects with limited risks and resource requirements. Transfers concepts for professional direction of own organisational unit into actionable measures. Supplier base management and supplier performance management. Manages contracting and pricing in responsibility area (including the negotiations). Manages supplier selection process in responsibility area. Ensures that activities meet all relevant regulations and legal requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
