Community Manager

As a Community Manager at Authorworks, a forward-thinking startup based in Calicut, Kerala, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our startup community. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies to grow and engage the community, fostering connections between startups and investors, organizing impactful events, and creating relevant and engaging content. Your key responsibilities will involve: Community Growth & Engagement: - Implementing strategies to expand and engage the startup community across various platforms. - Acting as a bridge between startups and investors to facilitate meaningful interactions. - Engaging with community members through forums, social media, and direct communication to build strong relationships. Event Planning & Management: - Organizing online and offline events such as workshops, networking sessions, and webinars to strengthen community ties. - Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution. Content Creation & Communication: - Curating content like newsletters, blog posts, and social media updates that resonate with the community. - Working with the marketing team to promote community activities and events. Relationship Building: - Developing and maintaining relationships with key community members, partners, and stakeholders. - Acting as a liaison between startups and investors to ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience in community management, preferably within the startup ecosystem. - Strong understanding of startup dynamics and the needs of early-stage companies. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in event planning and management. - Proficiency in using social media platforms and community management tools.
