Job Title: CNC Machinist

• Set up CNC milling machines according to job specifications, including loading tools and fixtures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
• Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, etc.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures onto CNC machines.
• Adjust tools and machines as needed for proper operations.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Accurately record setup procedures, tool changes, and production data.
• Check machined parts with precision tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, pin and slip gauges) to ensure they meet specifications
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to improve production and quality.
• Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to keep them working properly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Document setup procedures, tool changes, and production data accurately.

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field is preferred.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating Brother CNC milling machines.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operating procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and machining instructions.
• Knowledge of tooling and fixtures used in CNC milling operations.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle tools and stand for long periods.
