Chief Cook

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Cook to lead kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation. The Chief Cook will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, planning menus, maintaining hygiene standards, and overseeing all aspects of the kitchen to deliver an excellent dining experience. Key Responsibilities:   Supervise and manage all kitchen activities and kitchen staff.   Plan and prepare daily menus and special dishes.   Ensure timely preparation and presentation of food according to quality standards.   Monitor food storage, inventory, and ordering of kitchen supplies.   Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per safety and health regulations.   Train, guide, and motivate kitchen staff for efficient performance.   Control food costs and minimize wastage.   Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth and timely service.   Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues.   Handle customer feedback related to food quality and make necessary improvements. Requirements:   Proven experience as a Chief Cook or Head Chef.   Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.   Excellent leadership, team management, and time management skills.   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.   Minimum qualification: Relevant certification or experience in cooking. Preferred:   Experience in large kitchens, hotels, restaurants, or catering services.   Specialization in specific cuisine like Indian, Continental, Chinese, or multi-cuisine.
