CAD Application Engineer - Solidworks

As a CAD Application Engineer at our company, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and training to clients utilizing 2D & 3D CAD platforms. Your expertise or enthusiasm for 3D modeling, analysis, and software training will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients maximize the value from the CAD applications. Working closely with sales, customer success, and product teams, you will guide customers through onboarding processes, offer technical consultation, and optimize workflows to meet specific industry needs. Your responsibilities will include delivering software demonstrations, conducting client training both online and onsite, and collaborating with sales and pre-sales teams to showcase the features and capabilities of CAD platforms. You will act as a bridge between users and the OEM product team by collecting and reporting feedback for continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Production, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience. Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD platforms like AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly during client training sessions, are also crucial for success.
