Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager / IT Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in acquiring new IT clients, building strong business relationships, and closing deals related to software services, staffing, or project outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in IT services (staffing, custom development, support, etc.)
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Understand client requirements and align them with company services and delivery capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver client-specific proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines to close profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding and project initiation.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Track market trends, competition, and client feedback to refine strategy.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.

Requirements:

  • 11 to 20 years of experience in IT services/business development or IT sales.
  • Strong experience in client acquisition, IT staffing, custom software solutions, or consulting.
  • Excellent understanding of technologies such as Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, ERP, Data Engineering, etc.
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong network in the IT industry (especially across the US, UK, or domestic Indian market).
  • Experience working with CRMs like Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc., is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Prior experience working in an IT consulting, software development, or product company.
