Business Analyst

The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, analyze processes, and deliver data-driven recommendations and solutions. The role focuses on gathering and translating requirements into functional specifications, supporting decision-making, and improving business performance through analysis and process optimization.

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
• Conduct gap analysis and assess current processes, systems, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, product development, and operations to implement solutions.
• Support project managers and product owners throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Create process models, wireframes, data flow diagrams, and user stories as needed.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management efforts.
• Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements based on business needs and performance data.
• Generate reports and dashboards to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
• Ensure business requirements comply with regulatory and data governance standards.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Experience with business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
• Understanding of data modeling, business intelligence, and software development processes is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
