Job Description

Fertilizer Bottling Plant Supervisor

To lead and manage bottling operations for fertilizer products, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards while optimizing manpower and equipment utilization.

Role & Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day bottling, weighing, sealing, and labeling of fertilizer products
Ensure adherence to production schedules and packaging specifications
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs
Maintain inventory of packaging materials (bags, bottles, labels, etc.)
Ensure compliance with FCO, Safety Standards, etc. during operations
Train and guide operators on machinery use, hygiene, and safety protocols
Maintain shift-wise production logs, downtime records, and quality checklists
Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams for smooth material flow
Implement 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement practices on the shop floor
Support audits and inspections by internal and external agencies

Preferred candidate profile:

3 to 5 years of experience in fertilizer / agrochemical / chemical packaging operations
Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setup is preferred
