Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to join our team. This is a remote position ideal for someone with intermediate experience in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of core accounting principles.

Role is part-time.

Compensation:

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Categorize transactions and ensure general ledger accuracy
• Assist with tracking accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Generate key financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Support financial preparations for tax filings and accountants
• Communicate regularly with our Canadian team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Solid understanding of accounting and reconciliation practices
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Availability for partial overlap with Canadian business hours

Preferred

• Experience working with Canadian or U.S.-based companies
• Familiarity with Canadian GST/HST processes is a plus
