About Us We are a reputed hospitality brand known for delivering exceptional service and hosting memorable events. Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Banquet Sales Manager to join our team and lead banquet sales operations for weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings. Job Summary As the Banquet Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating banquet sales leads, converting inquiries into bookings, building lasting client relationships, and ensuring all event sales targets are met or exceeded. This role requires proactive business development, strong negotiation skills, and excellent event coordination. Key Responsibilities - Identify and pursue new banquet sales opportunities with corporates, wedding planners, event agencies, and local businesses. - Handle incoming banquet/event inquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins, and convert them into confirmed bookings. - Conduct site visits and presentations for potential clients. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. - Create customized event proposals and negotiate contract terms within company guidelines. - Collaborate with the F&B, kitchen, and operations team to ensure smooth execution of events. - Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify new business prospects. - Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, database, and regular reporting. - Attend networking events, expos, and sales meetings to promote banquet facilities. - Achieve monthly and annual banquet sales targets. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in banquet or event sales, preferably in the hospitality industry. - Strong local market knowledge and existing client network is a plus. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure. - Proficiency in MS Office and event management software (e.g., Banquet/Event CRM).
