About Gokulam Grand Trivandrum

Gokulam Grand Trivandrum is a distinguished 5-star luxury hotel offering exceptional hospitality and top-tier service standards. We host a wide range of events from corporate functions to grand weddings and social gatherings. We are looking for a driven and service-focused Banquet Executive to join our professional team.

Position Summary:

The Banquet Executive is responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of banquet operations to ensure seamless execution of events. This includes pre-event preparation, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to hotel service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day banquet operations including setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Coordinate with clients, event planners, kitchen, and service teams to ensure event requirements are met.
  • Supervise and guide banquet staff to ensure professional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper setup of banquet halls as per event function sheets.
  • Monitor service quality and make real-time decisions to address any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist with planning and execution of banquet promotions and packages.
  • Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment and supplies.
  • Generate daily reports, feedback forms, and coordinate billing with accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales and events team for smooth handovers and client engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Banquet Executive in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of banquet layouts, service styles, and event flow.
  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related discipline is preferred.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹264,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
