Back-end Developer

As a Software Developer at Regal Rexnord, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust software applications and services. Your role will involve writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code using C# and .NET Core, with a preference for .NET 7/8. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers is essential to deliver high-quality features. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and develop and consume RESTful APIs while integrating with third-party services. In this position, you will also focus on optimizing application performance, scalability, and security. Writing unit tests and engaging in code reviews to ensure code quality will be part of your routine tasks. Documentation of technical designs, processes, and system configurations will be required, along with staying current with emerging technologies and development trends. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software development and a strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and API development. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns is essential. Experience with SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, and Graph databases is also necessary. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Synapse Analytics, Application Insights, API Management, Key Vault, App Services, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Container Registries is highly desirable. Familiarity with SignalR, real-time communication, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Preferred skills include exposure to Azure IoT Edge, Device/Module Twins, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), Agile methodologies (Scrum, JIRA), microservices architecture, security best practices in software development, and basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular.
