Experience: 5-7 years Location: Bangalore & Hyderabad (Hybrid) A highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js. This role involves developing and maintaining robust server-side applications and improving existing systems. The ideal candidate will possess experience in creating scalable server-side logic, integrating APIs, and managing databases like MongoDB or MySQL. About PwC US Acceleration Centers: PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) operate in 11 geographical locations and comprise over 50,000 dedicated professionals supporting client engagements globally across all PwC services and capabilities. Our ACs are central to PwCs strategy of leveraging our people, capabilities, and technology to assist clients in building trust and achieving sustained business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Develop and implement efficient and scalable server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js. Design, create, and manage API integrations. Handle databases such as MongoDB and MySQL, ensuring data security and adherence to best practices. Application Maintenance: Monitor application performance and address issues promptly. Implement updates and enhancements based on user feedback and analytics. Stay informed about industry trends and technologies to keep the application competitive. Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure a seamless user experience. Maintain comprehensive documentation of the application’s architecture and processes. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in backend development. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, with a focus on Node.js. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Experience with cloud services, particularly Azure. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Previous experience in application maintenance and performance optimization. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Soft Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
