Azure Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect with strong expertise in .NET, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions. This role requires strong stakeholder management, solution design, and leadership skills to guide teams through complex projects, including re-architecting existing systems or designing new ones from scratch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage relationships and communications with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and deliverables.
• Architect solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements, including re-architecting existing systems or designing entirely new solutions as needed.
• Drive the technology roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business strategy and future growth.
• Provide troubleshooting expertise on complex technical issues across systems and integrations.
• Conduct regular meetings with vendors to evaluate and manage external solutions and partnerships.
• Maintain, guide, and mentor the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead weekly face-to-face meetings with the SSE (Senior Software Engineer) team to ensure alignment, address blockers, and drive progress.

Technical SkillsMandatory:

• .NET (strong design and coding understanding for architectural oversight)
• Microsoft Azure (architecture, services, deployments)
• SQL Server (data modeling, optimization, design)

Optional/Nice to Have:

• Python
• Slack integrations or workflow automations

Requirements

• Proven experience in software architecture, including designing and implementing large-scale solutions.
• Ability to assess existing systems and recommend/implement re-architecture strategies.
• Experience with Azure architecture best practices and designing cloud-native solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring development teams.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Azure Architect certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 06 months

Pay: ₹928,696.43 - ₹2,561,306.44 per year
