Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
Build and maintain API test automation using tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or Karate
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for continuous validation
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria
Ensure robust test coverage for functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing
Track and report defects using tools like JIRA, and follow through to resolution
Create and manage reusable test data and stable test environments
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
3+ years of experience in automation testing for web and API platforms
Proficient in UI test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar
Hands-on with scripting/programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java
Familiar with version control (e.g., Git) and working within CI/CD environments
Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, RESTful APIs, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams with cross-functional collaboration
Bonus if experienced with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or CodeceptJS
Exposure to Docker, test containers, or cloud-based test environments is a plus
