Autocad Design/Senior Design Engineers

Key Responsibilities:Design & Engineering:

• Lead the design of structured cabling systems (Fiber & Copper) for data centres and office campuses
• Create designs for raceways, rack elevations, fiber runners, wire mesh, and backbone layouts using AutoCAD/Visio/BIM tools
• Prepare various layout drawings:
• IT Symbol Layouts
• Conduit & Raceway Layouts
• Numbering Layouts
• Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Rack Placement Drawings
• Server & Hub Room Layouts
• Wifi Layouts using heat maps
• Perform BOQ/BOM estimations based on architectural layouts and customer briefs
• Calculate quantities for cables, conduits, and raceways
• Create port distribution plans and rack elevations using MS Excel

Client Interaction & Presales:

• Interact directly with customers (onsite/web) to gather requirements, present design concepts, and defend design standards
• Handle presales activities including solutioning, presentations, and responding to RFPs
• Generate end-to-end Bill of Material in line with customer requirements
• Work with leading brands: CommScope, Panduit, Corning, APC, Rittal, Siemon, Vertiv

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Coordinate closely with marketing, commercial, and project delivery teams
• May lead a team of draftsmen/design engineers on a project basis
• Ensure compliance with global standards (OEMs/BICSI) and consultant specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Any Discipline)
• Certifications from OEMs or BICSI (Preferred)
• Experience working on BIM/LOD and modern 3D modeling tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Travel Requirement:

• Willingness to travel pan-India on short notice for client meetings, site inspections, and quality checks
