Job Title Asst Manager / Manager / Sr Manager Project Development – Land, Connectivity & Government Approvals Job Location : Ahmedabad Experience Required : 3 – 12 years of relevant work experience Knowledge & Skills  Strong understanding of state-specific land laws, transmission policies, and renewable energy regulations.  Exposure to large-scale land aggregation and STU/CTU connectivity processes.  Experience dealing with government bodies and navigating bureaucratic procedures.  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  Ability to travel extensively to project sites and government offices Job Purpose The Project Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development of wind and solar energy projects in term of identification of land, discussions with land aggregators, execution of lease deeds, GPA/POA, ATS, connectivity applications, liaison and obtaining government approvals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy project development, excellent project management skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Land Acquisition  Identify and evaluate potential sites for wind and solar projects.  Negotiate land lease and purchase agreements with landowners.  Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.  Ensure all land-related legal documents are accurately prepared and executed. 2. Connectivity Solutions  Assess and determine optimal grid connection points for projects.  Coordinate with utility companies and grid operators to secure interconnection agreements.  Oversee technical studies related to grid connection and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.  Manage the process of obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for grid connectivity. 3. Government Approvals  Navigate the regulatory landscape to secure all required permits and licenses.  Engage with local, regional, and national government bodies to facilitate project approvals.  Prepare and submit applications for environmental impact assessments, zoning changes, and other regulatory requirements.  Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
