Were looking for a Motion Designer who s obsessed with clean transitions, crisp typography, and storytelling through animation.

At Social Donut, we blend design, storytelling, and performance to craft bold campaigns that move people. From iconic brand moments to snackable content that trends, we build brands that aren t afraid to stand out. Our clients include AstroTalk, Mystic Mondays, GetVantage, and numerous other prominent brands. We recently launched our

AI-Powered Content Studio

, and now we re looking for a creative Motion Designer to help bring ideas to life.

Role Overview

We re looking for a

Motion Designer

who s obsessed with clean transitions, crisp typography, and storytelling through animation. You ll work closely with the creative and strategy teams to craft short-form content, ads, social reels, explainers, and design-led animations for both brands and creators.

Responsibilities

Design and animate motion graphics for brand videos, social media content, reels, ads, and campaigns
Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and creative strategists to develop visual stories
Translate static designs into animated masterpieces
Develop short-form animated assets for UGC/influencer campaigns
Take ownership of projects from concept to final delivery, with attention to brand guidelines and aesthetic quality
Stay updated with the latest animation trends, tools, and meme culture (yes, that helps)
Edit footage (when needed) to blend video and animation for social content
Participate in brainstorms and pitch your ideas fearlessly

Tools You Should Know

After Effects (Required)
Premiere Pro / Final Cut
Photoshop, Illustrator
Figma (basic knowledge)
Bonus: Blender / 3D tools / Notch / Lottie / AI tools like Runway, Pika

Requirements

2 4 years of experience in motion design, animation, or post-production
A stunning portfolio with a mix of brand, social, and storytelling-led motion content
Strong understanding of composition, typography, and timing
Ability to turn a boring brief into an engaging piece of content
Good taste in music and sound design (not mandatory, but we ll notice)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Bonus Points

Experience with motion design for DTC, SaaS, or creator brands
Familiarity with performance marketing and creative testing
Strong meme game and sense of humor
