Job Description

As Associate, Monitoring and Evaluation, you will be responsible for:

Partnering with your manager to set strategy for all aspects related to monitoring and evaluation of every stage of the Selection model (10%)

  • Setting a bold, ambitious and exciting vision for how monitoring and evaluation of all aspects of the Selection model can be established.
  • Thought partnering with the Senior Manager, Fellowship Selection Operations and Implementation and Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation towards the broader vision for the selection team.

Planning and executing all aspects related to monitoring and evaluation of every stage of the Selection model (40%)

  • Running and managing monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure reviewers are reviewing ~ 10,000 applications accurately and efficiently and selectors are processing ~ 3,000 applicants at the Assessment Centres with accuracy and fidelity.
  • Studying the aforementioned decisions made by reviewers and selectors regularly to understand and contribute to the evolution of our processes - making meaning of the Selection model and communicating learnings with the Recruitment- Selection- Matriculation (RSM) teams through reports and other forms of analyses.
  • Collaborating with managers and other team members to ensure alignment in strategy with respect to model implementation so as to maximize learning and impact.
  • Studying the quality of applicants in each round and making data-driven recommendations to aid the Recruitment team in making real-time shifts.
  • Managing projects related to monitoring and evaluation of different stages of the Selection model.

Executing the selection model at the First Review and Assessment Centre stages (50%)

  • Reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, and supporting others to do the same accurately and efficiently.
  • Building relationships with internal and external reviewers and selectors to ensure that the model is being implemented with fidelity.

As an Associate at Teach For India, you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to

    the team goals and priorities

    beyond individual goals and priorities.
  • Serving as an

    ambassador of the Teach For India brand

    and an advocate for our work and for educational equity in our country through both internal and external communication after committing time in our classrooms to understand our work more deeply.
  • Supporting with key organizational areas such as

    Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, Movement Building.

Minimum _Qualification_ Skill_ Competency__c" : "
  • Graduate (any field) with 0-3 years of experience with exposure to data analysis/analytics; experience working with large sets of data in Google Sheets and/or other tools would be a significant advantage.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, but with a purpose-over-process approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - written, verbal and interpersonal.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset (solution-oriented approach to challenges).
  • High attention to detail, with a belief in the importance of the little things .
  • Prior experience in teaching/education/monitoring and evaluation systems would be an added advantage (not mandatory).
