Job Description

Key Role:

The Manager's key role is to support the critical objectives of our Client Service Cycle and ORM independent project reviews. The role will directly align to the Principal in Charge of ORM on a daily basis and support operational performance of ORM duties while assisting in continuous improvement of ORM practices, Client Service Cycle enhancements, and ORM policy & procedure optimization efforts. This position will initially focus on portfolio risk analysis/reporting and project review practices while supporting pre-proposal/proposal and SOW reviews.

Responsibilities

General:

  • Understand the values and vision of the organization and align the activities accordingly.
  • Protect the Intellectual Property.
  • Adhere to all the policies and procedures.
  • Work with other functions and practice areas to support risk management objectives.

Pre-Proposal/Proposal/SOW Reviews:

  • Based on current client service cycle policies, any Proposal, Statement of Work, RFI response, RFP response, Presentation, Change Request, Purchase Order, Renewal, etc. that is equal to or greater than $300,000 USD and involves setting client expectations in terms of pricing and other professional arrangements must be reviewed by ORM.
  • Support above noted ORM reviews, approvals, and/or rejections in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement in associated areas, including:
  • Updates to existing CSC tools, templates, and websites.
  • Practice guides needed to improve awareness and adoption.
  • Enhancements to performance of associated reviews to support data collection and compliance monitoring/statistics.
  • Should have command of best practice portfolio/project management governance standards related to review/approval practices through sales pipeline processes.
  • Prioritize requests by maintaining proper communication with internal clients.

Portfolio Risk Analysis & Reporting:

  • Support recurring portfolio risk analysis and reporting to executive management, including:
  • Timing: weekly
  • Project Status: Active and Submitted
  • Practice Service Areas: Business Transformation, EEA ERP Consulting, EEA Oracle, EEA Transformation, EPM Europe, OneStream, Procurement Europe, SAP Application, Smart Automation, Strategy and Operations, Transformation
  • Key analysis/report summary for Unbilled, Past Due, and Submitted outlier projects.
  • Support the quarterly Disclosure Committee ORM project report.
  • Reach out to identified projects and their managers to assess project-related issues, risks, active mitigations, and overall risk levels.

ORM Project Reviews:

  • Independent quality (project) reviews to enhance client satisfaction, delivery quality, and risk mitigation.
  • ORM review checkpoints at key milestones (end of design, pre-UAT, etc.).
  • Prioritize reviews based on attributes like technical complexity, financial exposure, and prior performance.
  • Maintain a six-month rolling ORM review schedule.
  • Support project review planning, logistics, execution, and final reporting.

Mentoring, Training & Coaching:

  • Informal ORM/project management training during coaching sessions.
  • Feedback on contract types, project reviews, and management tools.
  • Support formal PM/risk management training initiatives.

Update Hackett Sales & Delivery Processes / PM Processes and Tools:

  • Assess and refresh CSC current state and roadmap.
  • Support updates/enhancements with Hackett IT.
  • Deploy updates, including training and documentation.

Essential Skills

Job:

  • Mix of project and portfolio management experience, focused within technology and business transformation.
  • Hands-on experience in core project management disciplines and PMBOK.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Experience with global and multi-cultural teams.
  • Develop tools/processes to improve project lifecycle productivity (Agile, SCRUM, Test-Driven Development, Waterfall).
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects with system integrations.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and MS Project.

Personal:

  • Understanding of business objectives and organizational structure.
  • Strong work ethics, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with maturity.

Preferred Skills

Job:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.
  • 35 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record with Fortune 500 clients.
  • Experience with Big 4 or top management consulting firms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Experience in project management oversight and cross-functional consulting.
