Job Title: Assistant Professor / Head of the Department (HOD)

Location: HKBK College of Engineering, Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time | Immediate Joiners Preferred

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
• M.E. / M.Tech/ M.Sc / M.Phil / M.A / Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (Ph.D. awarded or pursuing in the final stage is mandatory).
• First class in all preceding degrees (UG & PG).
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of teaching/research/industry experience.
• For HOD positions, prior experience as a departmental lead is desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Assistant Professor:

• Deliver engaging lectures and conduct practical sessions.
• Prepare course materials and lesson plans.
• Mentor and guide students in academic and career development.
• Engage in curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Participate in department meetings, seminars, and academic events.
• Conduct internal assessments and evaluate student performance.

Head of the Department (HOD):

• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the department.
• Plan and implement department academic schedules and activities.
• Monitor faculty performance and student outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with university and AICTE norms.
• Facilitate research, projects, and industry collaboration.
• Represent the department in institutional committees and accreditation work.

Salary:

As per norms and experience. Higher salary for exceptional profiles.
