Job Description

We are looking for skilled AS/400 COBOL 400 Developers with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will be working on a 6-month to 1-year contractual basis.
Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop applications based on business requirements using AS/400 COBOL 400.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of applications.

Perform coding and testing of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance application development processes.

Job

Proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 is mandatory.

Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

Experience in designing and developing applications using AS/400 COBOL 400.

Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.

Familiarity with version control systems and bug tracking tools.

Good to have skills include experience with RPG programming language and modernizing legacy applications.

Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial.
