Arts and Craft Teacher for BASH Cafe in Taleigao Goa

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic Arts and Craft Teacher to join our kids’ entertainment team. The ideal candidate will design and lead fun, age-appropriate art and craft activities for children (ages 5–12), fostering creativity, imagination, and enjoyment in a safe, engaging environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct daily arts and crafts sessions that are entertaining, educational, and suited to various age groups. Develop themed projects for events, parties, holidays, and special programs. Demonstrate techniques and provide hands-on guidance to children during activities. Supervise children during craft sessions, ensuring safety and inclusion at all times. Set up and clean up activity areas, including organizing and maintaining art supplies. Adapt activities for different group sizes, ages, and skill levels. Encourage children’s creativity, confidence, and teamwork. Communicate with parents and guardians as needed regarding activities and children’s progress. Assist in decorating the space for special events or themed days. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving the kids’ arts and craft experience. Qualifications: Experience working with children in a creative or teaching capacity. Background in art, early childhood education, or a related field is a plus. Strong artistic skills in a variety of mediums (drawing, painting, paper crafts, etc.). Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with kids. Ability to engage children and maintain a fun, energetic atmosphere. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. First aid and child safety training is an advantage. Working Conditions: Work may take place in indoor or outdoor settings depending on the program. Must be available during weekends, holidays, and peak seasons, depending on the entertainment schedule. May require standing for long periods and performing hands-on activities.
