Area Sales Manager - Apparels

Locations : Malappuram, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Calicut

Role Overview:

The Area Sales Manager will drive sales growth and market expansion for kids wear apparels within the assigned territory. The role requires strong expertise in managing kids wear distribution and retail channels, ensuring effective product placement, visibility, and market share growth aligned with the brand’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets specifically for kids wear in the assigned area.
• Manage and expand retailer, MBO, EBO, and distributor networks with a focus on kids wear.
• Conduct market visits to monitor kids wear sales performance, VM execution, and brand presence.
• Plan and execute promotions and schemes tailored for kids wear to drive sales and liquidation.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, trends in kids wear, and pricing strategies.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
• Train and guide Sales Officers and front-end teams on product knowledge and kids wear positioning.
• Coordinate with supply chain for inventory management, replenishment, and order execution for kids wear lines.
• Submit weekly/monthly reports focusing on kids wear sales, stock health, and actionable insights.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PG in Sales/Marketing preferred.
• Experience: 4–8 years in apparel sales, with a minimum of 2 years handling kids wear sales and distribution.
• Strong understanding of the kids wear market, trends, sizing, and seasonality.
• Proven experience in retail and distribution management in the kids wear segment.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and people management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting for tracking kids wear sales performance.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
