You will play a key role in managing and enhancing cloud security controls, policies, configurations, and automation across complex enterprise environments while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. 💼 Key Responsibilities Manage and implement security rules, automation, and configuration changes to optimize cloud security tools in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Take ownership of cloud security outcomes in line with HSBC policies and management directives. Review and escalate requests for security exemptions or exceptions, ensuring consistency and governance across cloud platforms. Participate in architecture and design reviews for global businesses to ensure cloud deployments meet mandatory security requirements. Conduct cloud security assessments using both manual and automated tools/methods. Collaborate with vendors, client stakeholders, and platform teams to implement and integrate security solutions. Provide guidance and best practices to cloud platform engineers and architects, ensuring alignment with HSBC's Cloud Security Baselines. Continuously improve cloud security processes, automate wherever possible, and drive high-quality, consistent implementations. Support incident response processes, analysis, and reporting as needed. Actively research emerging threats and identify potential vulnerabilities in AWS environments. ✅ Mandatory Skills Cloud Security - AWS Native Security Proven experience in managing and implementing cloud security at scale in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Strong understanding of AWS security services (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, CloudTrail, etc.). Experience with cloud compliance, security policy, and governance in enterprise-scale environments. Working knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response in cloud. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
