As an Engineering Lead in the Functions Technology, Enterprise Risk Technology(ERT) team at Citi, you will play a pivotal role in developing technology solutions for managing Compliance Risk, Enterprise Risk, Consumer Risk, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk and Controls. Your contributions will aim to build stronger, industry-leading governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms that support business requirements, regulatory requirements, and Consent Order deliverables. Your responsibilities will include supporting all products within your functional area, from design to implementation, and ensuring ongoing performance according to business needs. You will provide technical leadership in designing highly complex systems and develop new solutions for undefined system needs. Additionally, you will impact the engineering function by contributing to technical direction and strategic decisions. As an Engineering Lead, you will mentor junior team members, allocate work, and direct teams on developing and delivering efficient systems. You will also be required to support end-user consultation to identify system function specifications and incorporate them into overall system design and delivery. Your comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology will be crucial in achieving technological objectives. Furthermore, you will be expected to have a deep understanding of the business domain, the systems, and the products in your space. You will provide a long-term perspective for business and technology choices, vet architecture as required, and communicate technical and business risks effectively to stakeholders. In terms of qualifications, you should have 12-16 years of relevant experience with strong application development experience as a Technical Lead. A good working knowledge of source code control tools and technologies is essential. Experience in financial services, particularly in front, middle, and back-office technologies on a large scale, is preferred. You should also have relevant experience in large-scale application development as a Technical Lead using modern technologies such as Java, J2EE, Angular JS, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, ReactJS, NodeJs, and others. Education-wise, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. Your ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks will be a key asset in this role.
