Your role will involve powering our customers" missions by identifying and utilizing the right equipment for various applications. Successful application engineering support will contribute to achieving our team mission through three key avenues. Application and Special Quotation Support - Responding to field sales inquiries regarding application, technical, and manufacturing capabilities related to product specifications - Guiding field sales towards solutions that meet customer requirements - Supporting Data Center projects with multiple product requirements and optimizing the final scope of supply - Reviewing and evaluating special options requirements, supporting SQ (Special Quote) needs by providing cost and lead time estimates, and developing subcomponent specifications, engaging with suppliers, and analyzing factory manufacturing capability Expert Solutions - Assisting field sales with technical clarifications for customers, potentially engaging directly with customers - Guiding field sales and key customers on system design approaches to enhance competitive advantage by specifying tailored equipment packages - Balancing chiller performance with sub-system components and features to provide expert solutions - Aligning field support with knowledge of chiller products available in the market and regional product strategy Product & Product Applications Development - Monitoring and analyzing common inquiries, requests, and challenges to identify new applications, develop new special quotation offerings, and guide global product teams - Providing necessary materials for Data center application literature, product presentations, and training materials - Collecting and offering constructive feedback to global product teams on resources, tools, and documentation available to field sales and customers - Delivering training presentations on product changes and new products to field sales and key customers - Engaging in industry organizations and technical seminars - Monitoring and providing formal comments on product/application relevant codes and standards In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting sales teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the growth and success of Johnson Controls in the Middle East and Africa market.,
