Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC). Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices is a plus. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic understanding of databases and SQL.

Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts (Python,JS,Java) and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing. The position involves preparing test plan, writing test cases, dynamically manage test and regression suites. The position also involves writing maintainable automated test cases, designing and upgrading automation framework. Working on non functional areas like performance, memory leak, Security. Experience in any Web or Desktop automation (and exposure to any of Selenium) Experience of desktop product testing will be added advantage. Experience - 3+years of experience.
