API Automation Testing

You have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an API Test Automation Engineer in Noida. With 4 to 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks. Your role will involve performing functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of APIs while developing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases. Collaboration is key in this role as you will be debugging, analyzing, and reporting defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues, and integrating automated API tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar. You will also utilize tools like Charles, Fiddler, or Wireshark to debug and inspect API traffic, monitoring API performance, and reliability to ensure compliance with SLAs and performance benchmarks. Your expertise should include a solid understanding of RESTful web services, JSON, and XML data formats, proficiency in API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar, and hands-on experience with automation frameworks and libraries such as TestNG, Cucumber. Strong programming skills in Java/Python are required along with experience in API performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and knowledge of API security best practices including OAuth, JWT, and token authentication.
