Job Description

ob Purpose: The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for managing the student admission process, engaging with prospective parents and students, providing accurate information about school offerings, and guiding them through the application and enrollment journey. The counsellor will also represent the school in outreach and promotional activities. Key Responsibilities: Counsel and guide students and parents on the academic programs, school curriculum, facilities, and admission procedures. Handle walk-in enquiries, phone calls, and online admission queries in a timely and professional manner. Conduct campus tours and informational sessions for prospective families. Maintain student databases and admission records with accuracy. Assist in planning and organizing school promotional events such as education fairs, seminars, and school outreach programs. Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure a smooth admission process. Follow up regularly with leads to ensure conversion of enquiries to admissions. Prepare periodic admission reports and share insights with management. Build strong relationships with feeder schools and community organizations for outreach. Key Skills Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good presentation and public speaking ability Organizational and coordination skills Customer service orientation Familiarity with admission software/CRM systems is an added advantage Fluency in English and Tamil (additional languages are a plus) Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (Education, Management, or Communications preferred) Minimum 1–3 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or customer relations (preferably in an educational institution) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹34,870.50 per month Work Location: In person
