Job Description

What You will do:

The roles and responsibilities of Office 365 Administrator include but are not limited to

  • You will act as the primary point of contact for technical support related to O365 administration to internal employees via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses and groups ensuring compliance with the organizational policies.
  • You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft licenses to ensure optimal usage.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on support requests, task status, and priorities to the IT Help Desk Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on O365 support, offering guidance and best practice recommendations to users.
  • Analyzing security reports and assessing potential vulnerabilities as they relate to O365.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT support technicians or create support tickets with external vendors as necessary, following escalation procedures.
  • You should be able to administer SharePoint, OneDrive, any other Microsoft related products that are used extensively by the users to support their issues.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities to enhance inter-functional coordination and solve problems through structured thinking, research, project planning and on-ground execution.

Ideally, you have:

  • Bachelors degree is mandatory.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a cross-functional role, preferably in O365 domain.
  • Problem solving acumen with an eye for detail and an analytical bent of mind.
  • Attributes of being a team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to support and collaborate globally.
  • Ability to extract data from the tenant for decision making.
